Aus diesem Grund sind die ausgestellten Werke mit Untertiteln wie "the possibilities of use - with regard to the aim of the author, the possibility of choice and the possibility of narration with limited time" versehen. Ihre Arbeiten sind in A4 Format (2D) zu sehen. (L.G.)

Andreas Leikauf recycles words, which puts the recycling of pictures taken from newspapers and magazines on a new level: empty catch phrases are unmasked, high-gloss pictures begin to crack, bucolic settings wobble and wilt, customary things are filtered and become obscure, and what is simple, unspectacular, actually a detail, is made significant. The letters and words seem to float in space, or are woven into parts of a painting, such as pieces of paper, scrolls, jackets, T-shirts, ties or other garments. Leikauf presents contemporary emblems to the onlooker; yet their delightful appearance is offset by the juveniles that he shows. This is what the resonance contains which bounces off these mostly two-colored pictures: a sad emptiness and the advice not to be gullible. "Don't trust them" could be a title for a picture by Andreas Leikauf.

....In 1990, the performance and fashion artist Aleksandr Petljura, who hung around in the moscow underground, searched for an adequate object for artistic house-occupation in the centre of Moscow. He organised in Bronja's house, who was then a 66-year-old retiree, one of the most fascinating commune of artists of the town, a sort of Moscow "factory". And Pani Bronja, whose previous life was mainly a welfare case, advanced to a celebrated performance artist and model and created an extensive graphic work until her death in 2004. Dubner developed an artistic handwriting in her drawings with a high potential of recognition: naiv and refreshing graphic portraits, decorated with small details like florets, sometimes with monochrome colour-areas, titled such as "This is the little prince" or "This is a clown from Paris". At first Bronja dealt with the death of her husband Vladimir Abramovič in her works, later she produced large series and referenced her everyday life. In her 14 years as artist it was generated a work of 500 pieces....

Through the small-format slide-projections (A4 format) Insomnia, Amnesia and Endless, (all from 2008) Petra Feriancová presents archives of recollections, memories, some sort of intimate aspects in the form of diary records. Here, the key is not - as it might seem at first glance - the moment of intimacy of the presented works, but the form of presentation itself. This is the focal point of Feriancová's research - how to present the images. Therefore, the exhibited works have a common integrating subheading the possibilities of use - with regard to the aim of the author, the possibility of choice and the possibility of narration with limited time. All artworks are limited by an A4 output in 2D. (Lucia Gavulova)
